Exmouth Bed & Breakfast is a late Victorian house in a quiet residential area of Exmouth, Devon. It has been subject to a complete restoration and now offers relaxing and peaceful accommodation for the discerning guest. There is a delicious full breakfast available with several choices including vegetarian and allergy free options. An evening dinner is available by prior arrangement.
Our bedrooms are a haven of peace. The decor and furnishings have been chosen especially with this in mind. The rooms are light and airy, with comfortable beds and furnishings in keeping with the style of this elegantly restored Victorian property.
Each of the rooms has a flat screen digital TV, DAB radio, Wi-Fi connection, a refreshment tray and complimentary sherry.Most rooms have en suite bathrooms. Our bathrooms are beautifully appointed, with all you will need including complimentary toiletries.
We offer a full English breakfast served in the Dining Room between 8.00 am and 9.00 am. Other times by arrangement. All produce used is locally sourced. Sausages and bacon from our butcher are the product of local farms. Tomatoes and mushrooms are organic and often home grown. Our eggs are free range. If you need to follow a special diet for any reason, please tell us as soon as possible. We can cater for Lactose free, Gluten Free, Diabetic or low sodium diets. We are happy to provide vegetarian meals or diets related to religious principles.
Exmouth is a gateway to the Jurassic coast which boasts world heritage status. There are two miles of sandy beach with many activities and wonderful views across the Exe estuary. For walkers there is a coastal footpath and many other walks in the vicinity. No33 is a level five minute walk to the Exmouth town centre and the station and a ten minute walk to the beach. Our aim is to provide a relaxing and pampering holiday for our guests.
Other local attractions include A La Ronde, a unique 16 sided house built in 1796 for two spinsters, Jane and Mary Parminter, with stunning views over the Exe Estuary and Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, Devon's most magnificent Historic Gardens, museum and Woodland Railway. Buckfast Abbey is only a short distance: founded nearly 1000 years ago and stood for 5 hundred years before it was closed by Henry VIII. The present community of monks returned in 1882 and rebuilt the present Abbey on its medieval foundations. For a city experience Exeter is close at hand, offering a host of attractions for visitors, including its magnificent Cathedral and a huge high street shopping area.
