Riverview Guesthouse is a Victorian terraced house on Coronation Road next to the river Avon, very close to Bristol city centre. We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable, value for money, budget accommodation close to the city centre. We cater for a wide variety of people including tourists coming to Bristol for a holiday, people visiting friends and family in the area, those heading out for the night in Bristol, people using Bristol airport and contractors looking for short or long term stays.
We benefit from free on street parking on Coronation Road and the surrounding streets and provide free Wi-Fi access and a self service complimentary continental style breakfast. Guests have a choice of single, double, twin and triple rooms; some with en suite facilities and the other have shared shower rooms ad toilets. The guest rooms all contain a sink, television, and tea and coffee making facilities. We provide liquid handsoap in all rooms and shower gel in the en suite bathrooms and shared shower rooms. We use Sunlight, a national linen company, for our bed linen and towels so it is of a high quality. We use non feather duvets rather than blankets.
We provide a self service complimentary continental style breakfast which is included in the room rate. Guests help themselves to breakfast from 5.30am – 9.30am. There is a large selection to choose from including: toast, cereal, muffins, croissants, crumpets, yogurt, orange juice, tea (builders and herbal), coffee (instant and cafetiere), hot chocolate and fruit. We use Kelloggs and Nestle branded cereal. We offer “proper” coffee in cafetieres for those who prefer it to instant coffee. The choice of breakfast varies slightly daily but always includes most, if not all, of the items above.
The city of Bristol is a bustling, commercial and creative city with many different areas offering a variety of things to do and see. The Riverview benefits from being one of the only bed and breakfasts within very close proximity to the city and all the major attractions.
Bristol is the birthplace of Isambard Brunel, the famous engineer and there are many of his structures to visit including his famous ship, the SS Great Britain and the first suspension bridge ever built at Clifton Suspension bridge.
