Forest Side Guesthouse in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, offers stunning guest house accommodation. Ideal for the perfect break whether it be for a weekend, extended stay, celebration, anniversary, business trip or some simple and well-deserved ‘time out’. We are situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park.
The guesthouse is opposite open forest and enjoys views over Bolton's Bench. It retains many of its original Victorian features and boasts a delightful wooden staircase, stained glass windows, high ceilings and original fireplaces.
We have six spacious en suite bedrooms over two floors consisting of a 1 double room, 2 classic king rooms, 1 superior king room, 1 premier room and a family/triple room. Each bedroom has been individually designed and offers views over the New Forest and/or our garden. All our rooms are en suite with shower and include quality linen, large fluffy towels, toiletries, flat screen TV/DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer and an alarm clock. The rooms also have a mini fridge offering drinks and snacks for a nominal free.
Our lovely guest lounge is ideal for relaxing in. It comes with two large sofas, games and a library of books and DVDs.
The dining room overlooks our garden. We offer a delicious breakfast menu: traditional English breakfast, fresh fruit salad, cereals, porridge, pancakes, smoked haddock with poached eggs and a range of teas and coffees.
We are only a few minutes walk to the village of Lyndhurst where you will find traditional shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. The area is a haven for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, golf, sailing and horse riding. With over 90,000 acres of open forest on our doorstep and miles of off road cycling tracks there is always something to do. The south coast, with its charming villages, nature reserves and cliff top walks, is within easy reach also.
