Hailsham, East Sussex

Facilities

Description

Longleys Farm Cottage is a countryside bed and breakfast located in a peaceful setting in a no through lane. We are just one mile from Hailsham in East Sussex. This historical old market town has two bustling shopping precincts, a modern sports complex & leisure pool.

All rooms are equipped with:
Electric showers.
Television.
Radio alarm clock.
Hairdryer.
Hospitality tray.

The surrounding area provides numerous attractions for both young and old. The South Downs and Weald afford excellent walks and many picturesque villages offer refreshment in the old inns and tearooms.

Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters Country Park grace the chalk coastline between Eastbourne and Seaford. Brighton, Hastings, the county town of Lewes and a number of National Trust properties, castles, gardens and stately homes are all within easy reach.

The Cuckoo Line railway, built in 1849, passed through Hailsham, but was closed in 1965. It now provides a beautiful scenic track and bridleway called the Cuckoo Trail, running from Eastbourne to Heathfield.
