The Bull Inn offers guest accommodation located in Battle in East Sussex. The guest accommodation is a 17th Century coaching inn built with stone from the Battle Abbey kitchens.
Our guest rooms all have en suite bathrooms with showers, televisions and tea/coffee facilities. A locked garage is available for motor bikes, bicycles, please check availability. All bikes are parked at owners risk.
The Bull Inn restaurant serves food all day Saturday - Sunday from 12 noon 0 3pm and on weekdays from 6pm - 9pm. A wide variety of snacks and main meals is available. Different choices of fresh local produce will be offered as the seasons change.
The Bull Inn is a freehouse and therefore carries a wide range and varied selection of beers, wines and spirits. There is a courtyard garden where guests can enjoy their drinks.
Guests can visit the famous Battle Abbey and the battle field where the Battle of Hastings took place using a fascinating exhibition by English Heritage featuring CGI film and interactive displays tells the story of the great battle and paints a picture of England at the time of the conquest. Located on Battle high street the Almonry Gardens are the perfect complement to a busy day's sightseeing in Battle. Surrounding the Battle Museum of Local History and the Almonry House itself, the award winning gardens are an oasis of tranquility.
