Ridgeway Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation situated in the pretty village of Saunderton and just a mile away from the bustling market town of Princes Risborough. Our B&B is located in the heart of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a haven for walkers.
Our en suite studio is a large, light, comfortable super king or twin room on the first floor accessed by a private staircase of 9 stairs with a hand rail. A large window looks out over the garden towards Risborough and the Whiteleaf Cross. Wall mounted Freeview digital TV, digital clock/radio, hairdryer, hanging and drawer storage, bedside tables, bedside lamps, easy chair and desk chair. This room is big enough for an additional child cot and/or extra bed which can be provided on request. A complimentary refreshments tray is provided and chilled water can be supplied on request.
The ground floor annex has a hall, a double room with king size bed and a twin room. The double room has king size bed, wardrobe and drawer storage, bedside tables, hairdryer, digital clock radio, bedside lamps and is sufficiently large to take a travel cot which can be provided on request. The room is also large enough to provide space for a wheelchair. Wall mounted Freeview digital TV/DVD player, thermostatically controlled radiators. The twin room has single beds, wardrobe and drawer storage, bedside tables, bedside lamps, digital clock/radio and wall mounted Freeview digital TV/DVD player, thermostatically controlled radiator, hairdryer.
A complimentary breakfast is provided, with plenty of choice, individually cooked to order and at a time to suit you, between 7.30 and 9 am. Cereals, porridge, yogurt, a trio of fresh fruit and fruit juice are offered. Try our homemade marmalade, lemon curd and preserves with croissants and/or a variety of bread and toast. A choice of coffees and teas is also offered.
Princes Risborough is well served with cafes, including several individual places for coffee and lunch. There is a street market on a Thursday, with larger Farmerís markets on the third Thursday each month. The local area abounds with country pubs and restaurants, all serving good food, some having been featured in Midsomer Murders and Inspector Morse.
