The Castle is a 19th Century traditional family run inn is situated in the Castle Quay part of Bedford, close to the River Ouse, Bedford's Cecil Higgins Museum and a few minutes walk to Bedford High Street.
The Castle is your village pub in the centre of town, we offer a warm, relaxing and friendly welcome as well as freshly prepared home cooked food, traditional Sunday Roast, fine wines, as well as six real ales.
There is an enclosed outside courtyard area for the summer months, as well as a large car park. Dogs are welcome in the pub outside of food hours.

Bedford - A double room with four poster bed and en suite bathroom with wet room. It is situated on our ground floor and has been adapted for disabled or wheelchair users.
Windsor - A Double room with en suite bathroom with large shower cubical.
Edinburgh - This Twin room has two single beds, and en suite bathroom with shower and bath.
Warwick - A Double room and en suite bathroom with large shower cubical.
All rooms have flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and Wi-Fi access throughout. Tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries and just as importantly a warm welcome from our team.
Check in time is after 2pm or if you require earlier access to the room this can be prearrange. You will need to be checked out of your room by 10.00am Monday to Friday and by 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday.
