Balmaha House offers wonderful guest house accommodation in Balmaha, Stirling. We are just 7 miles from Ben Lomond and the perfect base for exploring the local area.
We offer a range flexible accommodation to suit your needs. There is a double, twin and a single room in the main house and 4 rooms in the adjacent bunkhouse which can sleep up to 14 people. We also have a chalet which sleeps up to 4 people and is available all year round. The front room of the house boasts views over Balmaha Bay and many southern islands of Loch Lomond. All our rooms are en suite and come with tea and coffee making facilities.
The tea toom in our guest house serves snacks throughout the day. We can also prepare packed lunches and there is a delightful conservatory and breakfast room to relax in. From here you can savour glorious views of the bay.
We are on the picturesque shores of Loch Lomond in the village of Balmaha on the route of The West Highland Way. We are ideal for walkers on the long distant walk and also watersport enthusiasts wanting to explore the islands and landscape of Loch Lomond.
Balmaha has its own pub and marina and is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is also a waterbus taxi service that stops at Balmaha and can take you all over Loch Lomond and is a great way to explore the 25 mile length of the loch.
