Moira and Tony Stewart and our families, warmly welcome you to West Plean, a country guest house of remarkable character, which in its present form, dates from 1803. It is situated in the middle of our mixed arable and livestock farm, about 3 miles from the historic city of Stirling, known as the Gateway to the Highlands of Scotland.
We offer Bed & Breakfast near Stirling for the discerning visitor who appreciates quality, space and tranquillity and desires easy accessibility, and many of our guests return to us year after year.

All have TVís, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, robes, and are maintained to the highest of standards and convenience.
The Summer house can be used to sit and read and enjoy the gardens, which open under the Scotlandís Gardens Scheme for snowdrops in early Spring and then for daffodils. Children love playing ball games and hide and seek on the extensive lawns with their mature trees or taking the marked trails through our woods.
The house, set slightly apart from the farm steading, is surrounded by extensive lawns with mature trees. We encourage our guests to stroll into the Walled Garden and also to take a walk through our newly developed Azalea and Rhododendron plantings, and then follow the paths into the woodlands, where have a superb display of daffodils in Spring.
Other attractions include collecting the eggs from our free range hens, which children love, and taking the short walk within the farm to the site of an Iron Age Homestead with its panoramic views of Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, and West to the scenic mountains and hills of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park.
When you visit you are welcomed into a farming family home of spacious character and comfort.
We are listed and advertise with Visit Scotland (the tourist board), who Grade and Classify West Plean as 4 Star Bed and Breakfast. We are also listed and recommended in the Michelin Guide.
