Wiltonburn Farm offers warm and welcoming B&B accommodation that is sited on a 400 acre sheep and arable farm in a beautiful part of the Scottish Borders. Nearby Hawick is the home of the Scottish Borders archive and local/family history centre. While the Teviotdale Leisure Centre is a wet/dry activity centre that caters for all the family. Other attractions nearby include Alnwick Castles and Gardens, Jedburgh Abbey and Melrose Abbey.
There are 2 B&B rooms available at our bed and breakfast. The first is a family room with double and twin beds and the second bedroom is a double room with king size bed. Self catering accommodation is also available for those who prefer it.
Bring your own horse to Wiltonburn or hire one at one of the local stables and find yourself in horse heaven in the Scottish Borders. We have stabling for 3 horses plus sheep shed accommodation and grazing available. South of Scotland Countryside Trails is a 350km network of quiet off road routes for walkers, horse-riders, and cyclists linking to the Pennine Bridleway, Border Country Ride and other long-distance routes.
Guests are welcome to relax in the garden or practise your putting or have a game of croquet on the lawn, or walk to the award winning Wilton Lodge Park on the banks of the River Teviot. The park extends to over 100 acres with riverside and tree lined walks and a walled garden with superb floral displays. The Hawick Museum and Scott Gallery reflect the town’s history and also house exhibitions including one on “Hizzy” - Steve Hislop the late motorcycling champion.
Hawick in Teviotdale is the largest of the Border towns and is internationally famous for its quality cashmere knitwear. You will find big names and small businesses whose products can be bought in the many specialists shops including Wiltonburn Country Cashmeres at Wiltonburn Farm. You can also see garments in production at Hawick Cashmere Company or visit Johnstons of Elgin new knitwear shop.
