Gowanlea Bed & Breakfast is set in the pretty Perthshire conservation village of Muthill and is only 3 miles from Crieff. Our B&B is the perfect base for those who want a relaxing break away; we are surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of places to enjoy good food. So whether it’s the whisky, the walking, shooting, fishing, golf or just time to unwind with some wonderful food, this is the place.
Our rooms are cosy, quiet and dark with comfy beds and luxury linen to give you the perfect night’s sleep. We have 2 guest rooms available at the B&B:
Lily’s Room – This guest room has lovely views across Highlandman Park. There is a king size bed, sofa, coffee table, wardrobe, TV with DVD/radio and a hot beverage tray with tea and coffee making facilities.
The Jacks Room – Called after the male hares which feature in our favourite wallpaper that adorns the walls of this room. It is a spacious guest room and includes a king size bed, wardrobe, TV with DVD/radio, coffee maker and tea making facilities. Jacks uses a shared bathroom on the ground floor, just one flight below.
Scotland’s Network of Core Paths mean that you can walk through fabulous countryside right from our door. During evenings and weekends, by prior arrangement, we can even provide a walking guide and are also willing to provide drop-off and pick up for those wanting to do a linear walk that would normally involve taking two cars and a lot of travelling back and forth. Relax in your comfortable luxury room after your day of fresh air and activity. We can tailor make a package to suit you. So if you would like any special arrangements then please do get in touch.
