Description

The Fairwinds Hotel is a charming property that offers comfortable and relaxing hotel accommodation that is perfectly located for exploring Inverness-shire and the Cairngorms National Park. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of Carrbridge and is within easy driving distance of Aviemore which is a well known and popular holiday destination in Scotland.

Our hotel rooms are all different and have been individually decorated and furnished. Each of the hotel rooms include a TV, hair dryer, radio alarm clock with iPod dock and a refreshments tray with tea/coffee and home baked goods. The en suite facilities all include complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries and top quality towels.

Breakfast is served in our restaurant where there is a choice of buffet breakfast, full Scottish breakfast and continental options. The food is freshly prepared and cooked in our kitchen using the finest of produce, much of it sourced locally. We are happy to cater for special dietary needs with prior notice - please advise us when making your reservation.

Enjoy pre-dinner aperitifs, after dinner liqueurs and wonderful Scottish malts from our honesty bar. Being situated in the Cairngorm National Park there are all sorts of outdoor activities available. Guests can try out skiing, snowboarding, walking, cycling, white water rafting, fishing, sailing, zip-wiring, quad biking and horse trekking.

The village for Carrbridge is in the northern part of the Cairngorms. The Highland town of Aviemore is a 10 minute drive with the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, a 25 minute drive away. There are numerous distilleries within easy reach from the accommodation where you can see how the whisky is made and even sample some of the final product.

There are plenty of attractions to enjoy visiting during your stay, including:

Landmark Forest Adventure Centre (5 minutes walk in the village %u2013 discount for our guests), Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, Urquhart Castle, Inverness Museum, Loch Ness, Eden Court Theatre, Cawdor Castle, Highland Wildlife Park, Highland Folk Museum, Cairngorm Mountain, the Strathspey Steam Railway plus much more.

Set in 7 acres of grounds and surrounded on three sides by natural woodland, Fairwinds Chalets are in the centre of the village of Carrbridge, Inverness-shire in the Cairngorm National Park.

Apart from the renowned James Braid designed Boat of Garten (special rates for our guests) just 4 miles away, Spey Valley 6 miles, the excellent 9 holes at Carrbridge, we are within easy reach of world renowned courses such as Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Nairn and Moray Golf amongst others.

Carrbridge is situated right in the centre of the Highlands so day trips are easily possible to the Isle of Skye, Ullapool, Braemar and Fort William.
