Clay pigeon shooting is available at local gun clubs depending on their fixture list. Highland Deephaven gun club and Loch Ness Gun Club are all nearby. There are also numerous golf courses close by which are open to visitors.
The area abounds with many birds of prey as well as the other rare species. We sometimes watch Red Kites from our window. I've taken photographs of Buzzards, Waxwings and Fieldfares in our garden in addition to all the usual garden birds.
For those guests who are football fans, we are also fortunate to have two Scottish Premier League Football Teams: Ross County in Dingwall and Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Inverness.
