Helen and Jim Kirk have been providing bed and breakfast accommodation to guests in Edinburgh for over 12 years and continue to enjoy introducing guests to the delights of Edinburgh Scotland, a World Heritage City.
Edinburgh Guest House Accommodation: We have 7 beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms to choose from at our Edinburgh guest house and B&B. Below is a little bit more information about each guest room. If you have a particular preference of room please mention this while booking and we will try our best to help.
Guest Room 2 - Is a spacious double bedroom on the first floor at the back of the guest house. Quiet with a bright ensuite shower room. High ceilings and a bay window as you would expect in a Victorian bedroom.
Guest Room 3 - Is a quiet room on the first floor at the back of the guest house. Equipped with a double bed and a single bed and full shower room. High ceilings and a bay window and a freshly decorated bathroom are sure to make you comfortable.
Guest Room 4 - WOW! Is the frequent exclamation upon check-in to this room. Originally the upstairs lounge, it is large with a beautiful cornice and frieze, outstanding view of the city and a great en-suite shower room. Two single beds and a double bed, an overstuffed couch and chair and enough space to stretch out in.
Guest Room 5 - We recently redecorated this twin bedded room on the second floor of the guest house. It is at the back of the B&B with a full shower room.
Guest Room 6 - Slightly larger than Guest Room 5, it is also on the second floor at the back, so it is quiet and comfortable.
Guest Room 7 - The double version of Guest Room 4. Definitely bring your camera. You could never leave this room, take pictures from the double wide window and still see most of Edinburgh. Spacious shower room, great double bed and the View.
Guest Room 8 - Our dedicated single room, all the facilities including ensuite, TV, etc, without the surcharges normally added to single traveller accommodation.
As Edinburgh is the Capital of Scotland we are also close to the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile where many events over the years have seen Royalty as well as presidents and prime ministers meet.
The Western General Hospital, a large supermarket and Ainslie Park Fitness Centre are about a mile west of us, also with good bus access.
If you are visiting family or friends and space is a concern why not consider bed and breakfast accommodation at Brig O'Doon Guest House Edinburgh.
