Driftwood B&B is situated in Drummore; a lovely village in Dumfries & Galloway that has its own harbour, beach and is surrounded by beautiful Scottish countryside. Our adultís only bed and breakfast is open all year round and has stunning views of Drummore Harbour & Luce Bay.
There are 3 guest rooms at our B&B, each of which has been furnished to a high standard and has a full en suite bathroom. Facilities within the guest rooms include a flat screen TV with Freeview, tea/coffee making tray which is replenished daily and free Wi-Fi internet access.
Breakfast is served in the dining room at a time that is most suitable to you Ė you are on holiday after all! Please let us know when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
Our bed and breakfast is set in a stunning corner of Scotland and only half an hourís drive from Stranraer. The pace of life in Drummore is slow & tranquil, perfect for those who want a get away from it all break. There are plenty of attractions and places of interest to go during your stay. Visit the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse and climb the 115 steps to the top. On a clear day you can see Irelandís Antrim Hills and the Mountains of Mourne to the west, the Cumbrian Fells to the East, the Isle of Man to the South and Luce Bay to the North. Whilst at the Lighthouse visit the RSBP Centre and then call in to the Gallie Craig Coffee House for refreshments.
If fishing is your hobby then the coastline in this area is well visited by anglers. Alternately there are a number of golf courses within easy reach such as Portpatrick, Glen Luce and Stranraer. We are close to the Logan Botanic Garden which benefits from the warming influence of the Gulf Stream, allowing the creation of an exotic paradise. Here youíll discover plants from South and Central America, Southern Africa and Australasia which are rarely seen the United Kingdom.
