Glenroy Guest House is a lovely Victorian guest house overlooking Oban Bay. We are well placed for those wishing to explore everything the Argyll, Bute & The Islands region of Scotland has to offer.
All rooms offer a high standard of comfort and are tastefully decorated to conserve the original character of the house. Each of the guest bedrooms has a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, radio alarm, hairdryer and shaving point.
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.00am - 9.00am and freshly cooked to order. Traditional porridge is served when requested. There is also a varied breakfast menu with choices from a full traditional Scottish breakfast to simply scrambled eggs on toast! Alternatively, if you are catching an early ferry, let us know and we can organise our increasingly popular packed breakfast. If you have any special dietary requirements (please advise us in advance).
Oban is perhaps most famed for being the 'Gateway to the Isles' with regular and frequent ferries offering services to Mull, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree, Lismore, Barra and South Uist. Mull and Iona can be visited as a day trip with the ferry crossing to Mull taking around 40 minutes. Oban is also an excellent base for outdoor activities such as hill walking, diving, cycling and photography with a fine selection of forest walks not too far away.
