There are numerous castles on the "castle trail" and within easy travelling distance is the "whisky trail", which travels the many whisky distilleries in the North of Scotland. Within a very short distance there are pubs, fishing and golfing.
Local amenities at the town of Mintlaw are petrol, chemist, doctor, dentist, post office and convenience stores etc.
Our guest house is approximately 10 miles to larger towns such as Fraserburgh and Peterhead, whilst the city of Aberdeen is a mere 30 miles away by decent roads.
