Description

Holmefield Gardens Bed & Breakfast is a modern town house located in the East Lancashire village of Barrowford, set in the beautiful surrounding countryside of Pendle and the Forest of Bowland.

Our 2nd floor rooms are decorated to a high standard and equipped with the facilities you would expect from a 4 star bed and breakfast.

There is a choice of two rooms, a double room with modern en-suite shower facility and a bright twin room with adjacent private bathroom with bath and shower.

Breakfast is served week days between 7:30 - 9.00 and until 10 am at weekends. There is a choice of cereals and cooked breakfasts on offer as well as tea, coffee and fruit juice.

Barrowford is a great central location for exploring the North West. Within a distance of 50 miles you can be at the coast, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the cities of Manchester and Liverpool.

If you plan to stay closer to home there's plenty to keep you occupied, the rich history and natural beauty of the area is worth exploring. Nearby places to visit include:

The Heritage Centre - An historic building in the heart of Barrowford where you can visit the museum, stop for a meal or coffee and take a walk in the attractive gardens.

Higherford Mill - Originally a water mill that is now used to house local craft studios.

Barley, Roughlee and Newchurch - Pretty villages in the shadow of Pendle Hill, where you can set off for a days walking. Pendle Hill dominates the local landscape both visually and historically and is famous for the Pendle witches.

The area also offers a variety of shopping outlets from Boundary Mill and Junction 12 to exclusive independent boutiques.

Holmefield Gardens is ideally situated within a short walking distance of a number of bars, restaurants and pubs offering good quality food.
