Deepdale Hall Bed & Breakfast is a delightful 17th century farmhouse with adjoining luxury holiday cottage at Patterdale near Penrith in Cumbria. We are set within picturesque surroundings offering breathtaking views towards Place Fell and High Street.
This Bed and Breakfast accommodation has an inviting, cosy atmosphere, with original oak beams and Lakeland Slate open fireplace. Access is by way of a scenic quarter mile driveway from the main road. There is ample parking.
The house was built around 1670 and was part of the Duke of Norfolk's Estate. The lounge of Deepdale Hall was used for the Court of the Lord of the Manor under the supervision of his steward. Deepdale Hall retains its Manorial Rights to this day.
Our guest lounge has a beautiful outlook over fells and woodland with the warmth of a log fire and an array of books on local history and walks to browse through. There is a colour TV DVDs and videos for that cosy evening in, as well as free WiFi.
At this B&B accommodation there is a family bedroom to sleep 3 with en-suite shower room.
Both bedrooms offer comfort and relaxation having period and unique furniture, fitted Herdwick wool carpets (some of the wool coming from our own Herdwick sheep!), facilities for a nice hot cuppa, TVs and spectacular views.
A full English breakfast is served each morning at this B&B, with a vegetarian full English available as an option. Packed lunches are also available by prior arrangement. Our breakfasts have won the prestigious Enjoy England Breakfast Award and we have also been awarded Four Stars for our B&B Accommodation.
Unfortunately as we are a working farm we are unable to accept pets at the Bed & Breakfast accommodation.
We are just over 2 miles from the Inn on the Lake Hotel so are the ideal B&B if you are attending a wedding there.
