Crosslands Farm is a typical 17th century Lakeland farmhouse set in the unspoilt Rusland Valley between Coniston Water and Windermere. Close to Grizedale Forest and Hawkshead within the Lake District and the Furness Peninsula.
The 3 bedrooms at Crosslands are comfortably furnished and decorated. All have tea & coffee facilities and a television.
Valley View is a double room with private bathroom and looks across the valley.
Rusland View is a double room with en-suite shower room and a window seat where you can enjoy a lovely view across the fields.
The other bedroom, Fell View, is also a double with en suite bathroom with shower and bath. From this room you look out over the field and fell beyond where the pretty High Dam nestles in the trees.
There is also a twin room available.
Rusland Valley is an ideal place for country lovers. There are plenty of space to park your car, at Crosslands and a secure area for your mountain bikes. From here you don't need to use your car. There are many walks for you to enjoy. David is keen on conservation and has developed a new wood with a permissive footpath through it. Here you can enjoy rare flowers, small shrubs and wildlife. Deer are regularly seen along with badgers, moorhens, curlews, barn owls and woodpeckers.
