The Lion offers luxurious bed & breakfast accommodation in the historic village of Malpas. We are close to Chester and ideally placed for exploring Cheshire, Shropshire and Wales.
We have a range of recently renovated bedrooms available to suit all needs. Our 16 new rooms feature reclaimed timber, quality furnishings and tasteful fabrics. We have 1 double/twin room with disabled access. All the rooms including toiletries from Molton Brown, fluffy towels and complimentary wi-fi,
Our Village Rooms are accessed through the cottage terrace, set aside from the main pub. These twin and double rooms are individually designed and include en suite bathrooms. The Country Rooms are accessed through the cottage terrace, near the main pub. These rooms are larger than the Village Rooms and come with a spacious bed and flat-screen TV.
We also have The Bakery, a duplex suite based over 2 floors that includes an upstairs bedroom and a bathroom with a double shower and roll top bath. Downstairs there is a living/dining area. The suite is nestled in the cottage garden and offers views of the village.
