Mount Skip was built in 1718 and today provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in a rural, hillside location with views of Calder Valley. Although the accommodation is set on its own it is still very close to the town centre of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
There are 3 guest bedrooms available which each have a hospitality tray and toiletries. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience with a good choice of continental style breakfast which includes freshly made coffee, tea, home made bread and preserves. For those who prefer there is also a cooked English breakfast where if you wish you can enjoy our local butcher's bacon, sausages and free range eggs.
If guests want to relax there is a lounge area with stunning views. The lounge has a TV, things to read and drinks facilities.
A couple of minutes by car or a 15 minute easy walk down hill you are in the centre of Hebden Bridge. There are many independent shops selling anything from crafts, home made sweets and organic food. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, horse riding and golfing.
There are many interesting attractions to visit close to the B&B including the National Coal Mining Museum, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Harewood House and Temple Newsam.
