Redesdale Arms Hotel is a 16th Century coaching inn that today provides guest accommodation, homemade cuisine and a selection of beverages. The inn is known as the "first & last" inn en route to Scotland and it is located within the small Northumberland village of Rochester. This is the ideal location for exploring Newcastle upon Tyne, the coastline and Kielder.
There are 10 en suite bedrooms available which all have a flat screen TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. All the rooms are light and airy and some have truly spectacular views over Redesdale to the South.
The inns restaurant provides a range of home cooked dishes which include locally sourced ingredients where possible. Throughout the day there’s a selection of snacks and light bites to choose from and on Sunday, traditional Sunday roasts are served all day. We also offer a good selection of wines, spirits and beers in the lounge and bar areas.
This tranquil area is ideal for walking and cycling. Equally it is a central location for visiting Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water & Forest Park, Lindisfarne Castle and Theatre Royal, Newcastle.
