The Buck Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Thornton Watlass, near Ripon in North Yorkshire. All bedrooms overlook the attractive beer garden, or the village green, where cricket is played during the Summer months, and where cows can be seen grazing the outfield! All of the bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard.
The Inn is located just a short distance from the A1 making us a great place for a stop over if you are breaking a journey from the South up to Scotland or the North East. The Buck Inn is located amongst a fantastic array of charming market towns and picturesque villages including Middleham, Masham and Harrogate.
Our bar offers a choice of cosy rooms to relax in, by the open fire or wood burner. We have gained a good reputation for our selection of locally brewed real ales.
We are in an ideal base from which to explore this fantastic part of the country whether you are keen walkers, cyclists, sightseers or are simply looking to relax and unwind. We welcome families and dogs, and also offer fishing and golfing breaks.
