A warm welcome awaits at Ashfield House in the small County Durham village of Satley. In the heart of this picturesque farming village and right next door to the Punch Bowl pub you will find the stone built house standing within its own gardens and overlooking the village church and rolling Durham hills beyond.
The Bed and Breakfast accommodation comprises of a modern clean, fresh and spacious double suite with vaulted ceilings and views of the bonnie surrounding countryside. The House itself though built in more recent years has a traditional farmhouse feel with the modern conveniences for comfortable living. The accommodation is quite separate from the main part of the house and is accessed by its own entrance and staircase, allowing the guests some privacy and freedom to come and go at leisure.
The accommodation is modernly furnished with an en-suite bathroom and is extremely spacious allowing it to be easily adapted to suit families if required. Guests have the choice of eating in the room where breakfast will be served at a convenient time, or weather permitting on the patio, enabling visitors to enjoy their surroundings(various four legged friends included) and take in the views of the animals grazing over the rolling hills beyond. For guests with families there is a large lawn and trampoline which children(or adults!) are welcome to play on. We really want you to feel relaxed and at home during your stay with us.
