Meadow Farm offers homely B&B accommodation in the quaint village of Caldecott, near Market Harborough. Our aim is to provide a home from home environment that is in an ideal location for those who want to explore the Leicestershire & Rutland areas. The village of Caldecot is a short drive from Market Harborough which is a charming and historic market town that is well known for its beauty, wealth of good quality independent shops and indoor market.
Our farmhouse bed and breakfast consists of a twin/double family room & 2 single guest rooms. Breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of an excellent full English. Other options can be arranged to your requirements.
We also provide other facilities including washing, ironing and a freezer. The house has a large garden and ample parking.
Rutland is the smallest county in England, measuring just 16 miles by 16 miles. At the county centre is Rutland Water, the largest man made lake in Europe. In the south Eyebrook reservoir is popular with anglers and bird watchers. Among the villages there is Wing, site of one of the last remaining turf maze and Clipsham with the old Yew tree lined carriage drive to Clipsham Hall. Oakham town centre is home to Oakham Castle and Rutland County Museum providing an excellent starting point for discovering the county of Rutland.
