We welcome you to our comfortable friendly bed and breakfast in Henley on Thames whether you are staying for business or pleasure. Maple Lodge bed and breakfast is located in this historic riverside town of Henley on Thames, world renowned for the Royal Regatta and we are a short stroll down to the river Thames, town centre and railway station.
The self contained accommodation is situated upstairs and accessed directly from the entrance hall. On the large airy landing there is a fridge available for our guests’ use, with complimentary bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities.
There are 3 well furnished double rooms all with king size beds, digital flat screen LCD TV's (Freeview) hairdryers and large fluffy towels.
The 2 larger rooms can comfortably accommodate an additional single bed. Room 1 has an en suite shower, basin and toilet. Between rooms 2 and 3 there is a family size bathroom, with bath and shower over, basin and toilet.
Full English breakfast, cooked to order, is served in our large open plan reception room or on the south facing patio when the weather permits. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements, just let us know at the time of booking. Guests are welcome to enjoy the private, quiet garden during their stay.
Henley is a pretty riverside market town dating back to the 12th century. It makes an ideal centre to explore the Chilterns on foot, by bike or by car. Local attractions include boat trips on the Thames, the award-winning River and Rowing museum, Greys Court (a National Trust property), Stonor Park and the surrounding villages.
Henley also hosts several events during the year including the world famous Royal Regatta, the Music and Arts Festival and Fringe Festival in July, the Food Festival and Artspace in May, the Literature Festival in September and the Rewind Festival in August.
