The Old Mill offers bed and breakfast accommodation situated in the tranquil and picturesque Wye Valley at Hoarwithy. We can accommodate 11 people in the guesthouse and a further 6 in the two self- catering cottages making it an ideal venue for parties or family get togethers.
Our B&B offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation. We have double and twin-bedded rooms available, with en-suite or showers included in most rooms. There is one double en-suite room downstairs.
We can sleep 11 people which is particularly useful for weddings or family groups.
The dining room is spacious and beamed with a French window opening onto the paved gardens which have as a feature, a pond with waterfall and fountain.
The beamed lounge is cosy with a large stone fireplace in which we have a log fire on colder days. We also provide colour TV and video for guests use, together with a selection of books, many of local interest, which guests are welcome to borrow during their stay. Hoarwithy is a pleasant, unspoilt village on the banks of the tranquil River Wye. Many people visit us just to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire and the Welsh Marches (the former famous for its Hereford cattle and cider apples, the latter for iron age forts and mountain ranges). It is an ideal base for a walking or cycling holiday. The Wye Valley walk starts very near to the house and we have many maps and books you may borrow. Bicycles can either may brought with you or hired from brilliant bikes in the village.
