Edale House is a comfortable, 4 star B&B located in the heart of the beautiful Forest of Dean within a short drive, cycle or walk of all major attractions which may be found within this outstanding National Park.
Edale House is usually arranged as 5 double rooms and 1 twin. However two of the double beds are Super Kingsized and zipped allowing them to be configured as twins. We are therefore able to provide 3 double and 3 twin rooms if required.
The Forest of Dean and adjoining Wye Valley provide a wide range of activities to suit all interests from sedate bird watching to high adrenaline off road cycling, scuba, canoeing, combat sports and Go Ape rope course. Clearwell Caves and the mysterious Puzzlewood offer insights to the history and geography of the area. Puzzlewood is often used for filming and features in the latest Star Wars epic.
Nags Head RSPB nature reserve is only a 10 minute walk away and the village hosts a station serving the Dean Forest Steam Railway. Goodrich Castle Tintern Abbey, Chepstow, Monmouth and Ross on Wye are all within a 30 minute drive.
The area is rich in history with a hard surfaced family cycle trail and a surfeit of attractive walks. The knowledgeable management will be happy to provide recommendations and full details on all the attractions available.
