Idyllically located in the heart of rural Suffolk, and set in 9 acres, is atmospheric Creeting House. A Victorian listed Rectory opposite the tiny church on the end of the village of Creeting St Mary. An enormous tessellated hall leads onto lofty reception rooms opening onto the terrace overlooking the gardens. Relax in the spacious bedrooms with their elegant furnishings and luxurious en suites and experience the traditional Suffolk breakfast in the sunny Arch Room.
Each of the guest bedrooms at Creeting House Guest House will provide you with the relaxation, comfort and facilities you may expect. The first floor bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bath or shower rooms and the second floor suite of one single & one family room, share a private bathroom. (There is no lift at the House and therefore we do not suggest that the suite should be booked if you have mobility difficulties.) Cots and high chairs are available – please advise us of your requirements when booking.
Our beds are super-comfortable as are our crisp Egyptian cotton bed linens and towels. If you require the more traditional use of blankets rather than duvets, please let us know.
All the rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions with Freeview, DVD, WiFi access, tea & coffee making facilities.
Creeting House can be hired for all special events including meetings, wedding parties, christening or funeral gatherings, birthday and Christmas parties etc. The House has a premises license allowing alcohol to be served and entertainment to be offered.
There is convenient access of 1&1/2 miles drive to the A14 and then 15 minutes to Ipswich or 20 minutes to Bury St Edmunds. Creeting House is approximately 1& 1/2 miles from the nearest historic town, Needham Market, with all the normal facilities including doctors, chemists, post office & bank, taxis, interesting independent retail shops, pubs and restaurants, a great farm shop and Needham Lake’s Wildlife Sanctuary. Whilst Needham has the nearest train station, trains do not stop frequently here, whereas from the station at Stowmarket (4 miles away), there are regular trains to London Liverpool Street (1hour 20 minutes) to the south and Norwich (26 minutes) to the north.
