Barn Lodge in Tasburgh is an attractive Victorian barn conversion that offers comfortable and friendly B&B accommodation in Norfolk. Our bed and breakfast is only 5.3 miles from Norwich which has long been celebrated for having more pubs and churches per square mile than anywhere in the country.
The bed and breakfast accommodation is all on the ground floor and consists of:
One large twin room with en suite shower and toilet facilities.
One double room with vanity unit, bathroom effectively en suite (one step across a passage) and one small room with single bed, cot and wash basin.
A comfortable folding bed can be used if you need the extra space. All guest rooms have television and a hospitality tray. Children and well behaved, friendly dogs are welcome.
Breakfast is served in our dining area and is made using sausages and bacon from organic pigs & our eggs are from free range hens which you can see down the lane opposite the house. Vegetarians and anyone requiring a special diet are well catered for providing they let me know in advance.
Guests are free to use the downstairs sitting areas, with a cosy log burning stove in the winter. There is a large garden and an attractive patio for sitting out. We have plenty of safe, off road parking.
Tasburgh is a large village with a round-towered church dating back to the 11th century. There was an Iron Age settlement here, and you can still walk in the field and see its ancient boundaries.
