The Garden Lodge

Woodditton, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire

Facilities

Description

The Garden Lodge is a Swedish log cabin in Wooditton, Cambridgeshire. Our log cabin provides guests with cosy B&B accommodation and is conveniently located for Newmarket, Dullingham, Stetchworth and Six Mile Bottom. Woodditton itself is a good centre for hikers and ramblers as it is near the Icknield Way and at the eastern end of the Devil's Dyke.

Our bed and breakfast rooms have a traditional, Swedish log feel and are ideal for both business and leisure guests. They have a warm and colourful interior that is designed to help you relax and all rooms include:

Tea and coffee tray.
En suite facilities with power shower.
Mini bar.
Slim line 26 inch LCD TVs with Freeview.
Free Wi-Fi access.
Hair dryer.
Iron/ironing board.

We welcome single people and couples, as well as families with children (we can provide a Graco cot for babies and toddlers). Special beds allow us to arrange the rooms as single, double or twin, as you prefer. The bed and breakfast accommodation has 3 separate guest rooms, so we can accommodate up to 6 people at a time.

The idea of a break away is to enjoy a well deserved rest which means having breakfast at a time that suits you! No matter how early or late you would like breakfast please let us know the night before and we will accommodate to your needs. Our aim is for you to enjoy a happy, comfortable stay. If you have any concerns or requests, please do not hesitate to ask!

Woodditton is a pretty village in a very rural area with a mix of racing stables, stud and farm land all around. Hikers and ramblers can follow parts of the Icknield Way (a 128 mile path from Bledlow in the Chilterns to Thetford, following the course of prehistoric trackways and passing many sites of archaeological interest) and the Devil's Dyke (a Dark Ages earthwork stretching for almost 8 miles across Newmarket Heath), whilst the gentle stroller can admire the charms of our village houses and perhaps call in for a coffee or beer at the local pub, the Three Blackbirds.
